Percentage of 13-year old students endorsing values and attitudes promoting equality, trust and participation in governance ( CBB )
This indicator is proposed as an indicator for Sustainable Development Target 04.7 By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture's contribution to sustainable development.
ICCS 2009, which included 38 countries, has measured such attitudes. Major efforts will be required to develop a tool for use in other surveys. This is expected to take 3-5 years to achieve.
